Roast Beef Sundae – Guest Blog

Sunday afternoon at the car show in Columbus, Ohio-

my son Mark saw this sign, photographed it and sent it to me on the phone.

I’ve not seen a sign like this before, so maybe it is new to you, too!

  1. What a great idea! I have never seen anything like it. Thanks Ruth for visiting my Facebook page and ‘liking’ it 🙂

  2. This is surely a brother to the Mashed Potato Ice Creme Cone that used to be announced to children when taking them to a fair…. mine always refused to try it tough …
However, in N. California at or near Watsonville they do actually offer Garlic Ice Cream at the local garlic festival… i abhor garlic so I cannot report on this delicacy…

PS: If you like garlic and you ever go to San Francisco don’t miss going to eat at the The Stinky Rose….

  3. This little mish mash is one of my favorite dishes on earth! I usually got one of these bad boys at the giant Stampede Fair Calgary hosts; I’d look forward to it every year!
This made me so hungry! 😀

  4. It is a fun sign for a fun dish and I’m for it. I draw the line, though, at the cherry on top. The only thing I want on my potatoes is gravy. Save the cherries for next week’s baked ham.

    • Let’s hope it is a pickled radish and not a cherry. Yuck!
If you eat one of these, please snap a photo of it and post!

Thanks for your visit. It's always good to hear you stopped by.
