This image is saturated all right. Not sure if it looks rich or garish.
Here are the groundskeepers hosing the infield before the Pirates game at PNC Park last week.
Pre-game hosing is just one of the times the groundskeepers water it down. (see article like below)
As far as the saturated goes with th color, I beefed up the green a tad. I don’t mess with saturation much.
I liked the multiple meaning of saturation for the challenge
You can click here to read an article about how the Groundskeepers maintain the field in a Behind the Scenes look at all it takes. The article has a graphic showing how the field works.
Hmmm looks a lot like the IOS7 green.
How does one apply for these positions? Looks like a good seasonal position with some interesting fringe benefits.

I’d love to work on the grounds crew – except when it storms and the tarp goes on the field.

Looks like a fun game. The green color made everything pop excitingly!
I don’t often ad saturation either, but here it works really well.

This is a good color photo. The colors do pop.
I like challenges that are open to more than one interpretation too, Ruth. Technically I wouldn’t know how in this case but I haven’t yet seen the original post. I’m all set to be enlightened. 🙂
Wow! I love this Ruth! Great shot and entry hon. 😀 *hugs*
Clever pic for the challenge, Ruth. I was also thinking more of the wet type of saturated when I saw the challenge. 🙂
That is some serious green color! I think it’s “fair” to play with the picture’s saturation levels for a challenge titled “saturation”. 🙂
Big game tomorrow. Let’s hope it doesn’t go foul
Congrats on getting featured in the Daily Post Digest – I just clicked through from that to your photo here. The title of that particular part of the Digest (in case you didn’t see it yet) is “Around the blogosphere in six photos.” You were one of the six!
Thank you so much. Appreciate the good words
