Yetter’s in Millvale, PASaturday morning.
I wanted my grandchildren to see an old time soda fountain. It was too early for ice cream so we bought some things to-go, for later after the Children’s Museum-snacks, bottles of water, chocolate coins and some sour patch kids from the candy selection.
We will return for ice cream before they head home.
This post made me laugh Ruth, chocolate covered bacon and potato chips on the menu, and sandwiches are cheaper than drinks. Oh and Maura standing on her toes to look bigger? 🙂 Excellent!
You are right, Gilly- I saw the prices on the sandwiches and was surprised how low they were.
I’ll have to take a field trip over there. You didn’t buy the chocolate covered bacon?
Great!! The grandkids are so cute!! Klavon’s in The Strip is a good place for ice cream, too! Old fashioned.
Good tip!
That last pic is awesome!
I totally second that, Klavon’s is wonderful. I’ll have to check this out Ruth. Sounds like a great place.
On Grant. A real time warp.
Looks like a fun place. And Millville. I love it!
Not sure about chocolate covered bacon!
I didn’t try it…..yet. Thanks Ruth
Awesome old-school soda fountain! I have only ever been to one: it was in the local pharmacy of my hometown. Talk about old school!
Old school is right up my alley.
great photo of the kids! Are they beautiful, or what? !!! 🙂 Glad you showed the prices. A friend got a milkshake at Coffee shop here in Shadyside.yesterday. When I heard $4.95 I thought I had misheard! so I guess that’s the going price!!!! fun T-shirt!!!
My, how your grandkids have grown, Ruth! Maura won’t need to stand on her toes very much longer. 🙂
