Delicious Dinner With Friends and a Crazy Surprise Ending

*Plan for the New Year 2017– contact friends you haven’t seen in awhile and make time to get together

I met two friends/former colleagues from Greenfield School Tuesday evening.

The first photo is my view as I waited for them to park after battling rush hour.

Forrest was our attentive and knowledgeable waiter who guided us in our selections.img_2867

img_2882Thanks Joz for taking our photo with the nice young man Jeffrey who brought out the Greenfield Shirt I’d left on my chair in the restaurant.

Turns out the he was our former student at Greenfield School in 1997
(cool that he could still recognize us)

I taught him art and Ms Evans was his third grade teacher.

  1. What a great reunion Ruth and such a bonus with the former student at the end. Food looks great. I had no idea you could byob; in TO, restaurants need a special license and equipment (to recork unfinished bottles, who does that????) And they usually charge $15-30 corkage fees!

    • Just a modest $5 corkage fee. It was such a fun time. We drank it all, the three of us. Always good to have you visit and nice of you to write, Eva.

  2. Yes, I could definitely see myself telling the waiter, “Make that 3 ravioli, please.” They do sound wonderful, Ruth, and the photos of your antipasti are tantalizing. I’m hungry and I’ve just finished dinner a few minutes ago. Good to see that Greenfield School teaches its students to be kind and thoughtful, as well as the 3 R’s. 🙂
