“What Does Silence Look Like?”

“What does Silence look like?” asks Cheri Lucas Rowlands who created this week’s photo challenge- Silence

This photo taken in Istria, Croatia in 2008.

A church sign.   Blog followers may have seen it posted in 2012 and remember. It seemed perfect for the challenge.

  2. Love the family photos. Silence equals tranquility which equals comfort. Anna and Penny are so peaceful. Hope knowing that the Afghan was created by your grandmothers’s hands adds to their comfort. Silence at confession allows for uninterupted self examination. Necessary yet tough for some of us to do at times. There are many ways to heal spiritually. Not the same I am sure but riding on a back country road on a warm summer day on my Harley helps.

    • It’s an unusual pose for this dog too. If the mailman had come to the porch she would be freaking out and barking like crazy
