There was a really loud noise behind me while I was stopped at the red light on North Avenue.
It was a helicopter Allegheny General Hospital. AHN LifeFlight (Allegheny Health Network)

“…..regional emergency helicopter and critical care ground transportation services for critically ill and injured patients who need immediate specialized care. LifeFlight is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
In 2015 I posted -Grateful for MedFlightAir Ambulances in Columbus Ohio.
Emergency services do such incredible work for all of us.
Yes, they really do. Thank you.
they also could be bringing in an organ, like a heart, for transplanting. Amazing that this goes on around us all of the time and we don’t realize it!
Good point
I have a lot of respect and appreciation for life flight everywhere, they saved my sister’s life. Amazing we have this service ready and available to all of us! Thanks for sharing !
Aww thanks for writing.
I feel the same. You don’t want to need one. But, if you do, you are thankful they are an option. I often hear helicopters flying patients north to the Twin Cities metro or south to Mayo/St. Mary’s in Rochester.
Thanks Audrey. The sound of a helicopter is unmistakable. Important work.
Amazing capture! Very grateful for medical (and other) technologies.
