Pittsburgh is not in the path of totality for the eclipse tomorrow afternoon. All Air Bnbs and hotels in the path are booked according to a post I saw. Traffic is expected to be heavy. Our local weather forecasters are hoping for a break in the cloud cover. It will be another twenty years(Aug 23, 2044) before the next total eclipse.
I’m hoping to observe Bob the Feral Cat and see how he behaves.
You can watch the eclipse on television.
What are your plans? Where will you be? How will you protect your eyes?

Total Eclipse of the Heart song expected to be number one on the charts Monday April 8th.
I do have a pair of the special eclipse viewers so I will probably walk outside of my house and have a peek. Pittsburgh is supposed to have 97% view. Some schools are closed and some have early dismissals.
My plan is to be at work and see our 25% cover.
No eclipse viewing here due to cloudy skies. But the temp did drop noticeably.
It was too cloudy for us to see the eclipse. My son’s elementary school kept the kids inside for recess just in case.
