Pittsburgh Marathon Notes

My friend V wondered if I was able to photograph the Taco wearing runner from 2016 in this year’s Marathon.

He didn’t run in Pittsburgh this year.

I heard back from him

Kirk Millikan responded to my message, granting permission to post his pic. (Of course I didn’t get the message til after the post went up) , phew!

Here’s what he said in his reply-

Thanks for the support! I still have that taco costume and actually wore it yesterday, across the country at the OC Marathon in Costa Mesa, California.”

Here are some of this years participants in Dick’s Pittsburgh Marathon

  1. No way I could do it. I get winded walking out to the mailbox. I have to read my mail at the box so I have time to catch my breath. dc

  2. It’s interesting to see the expressions on the runners’ faces. I give them credit for something I could never do, not even when younger. It takes grit and a focused mindset. Plus a lot of training.

  3. So cool that he reached out to you! What mile is your house at? Looking at people’s faces, I’m guessing you are around Mile 13?

Thanks for your visit. It's always good to hear you stopped by.
