A quick glimpse of what was dredged from the river

My granddaughter (9) took the photos as I drove by. Couldn’t really slow down to get a better shot. I think she did pretty well.

      • It makes me wonder what’s at the bottom of the Allegheny up here where I live. The river used to be dredged for sand and gravel many years ago but no longer. So I bet there’s an accumulation of something on the riverbed.
