Blog follower and friend Andrew Wagner and I took some photography classes at Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild years ago. Gigapan is the one I remember the best. He has a terrific sense of humor. Andy is the guy who told me I’ve that my “blog was like a Kodak Carousel slide show- you never know what’s going to be next.” I felt complimented by his statement.
He sent me this photo from the bank parking lot. “freeze my account” he wrote.

Then he turned it and asked, “Does it look better if it looks like they are crawling uphill?”

I like both views.
How about you?
Thanks Andy for contributing a photo for today’s post.
Like both views, but crawling uphill is my favorite. Great photos Andy
Thanks Carrie for your good comment for Andy today.
I also like both views. One, or both, of these photos could provide inspiration for a scary story. (Emmaline was excited to prepare for her first blind date. She was searching through her closet to find her prettiest winter outfit. And, of course, she was going to wear her new pink gloves . . .)
Oh I think we will hear from dc later adding in to your story.
Two and from the bank – complimentary views! 🙃
Thanks for your visit and writing today.
What a great shot! Crawling up hill😂
I know. Thanks Sue.
Emmaline thought it was odd that her blind date wanted to meet at The First National Bank but it was near several nice dining places and her good friend Vincie vouched for the guy so she figured it was okay. The bank was also close to the onramp of the interstate.
One of the tellers at the bank heard a scream and raced to the front door of the bank. She couldn’t believe what she saw. A pretty young woman was being dragged into a black van by a huge man. The man was wearing a balaclava so she could not see his face. The woman was wearing what appeared to be a new winter coat, fashionable boots, a wool hat and new pink gloves. She was no shrinking violet as she fought the man with all her might and in the process both gloves fell to the ground as she attempted to claw at the man’s eyes. She was no match for him and was tossed into the van and it sped away, driving over the gloves. That was a mistake that would eventually cost the perpetrators.
Emmaline’s roommate was concerned when Emmaline did not call her as they had prearranged but figured she would soon. After a few hours her concern grew and she called their good friend Vincie. She immediately called the guy who was supposed to meet Emmaline but got no answer. Vincie sprung into action and it was evident why her friends called her “Pitbull.” She raced to the bank as Emmaline had told her that was where she was to meet her date. Her roommate called police. Vincie’s heart sank as she approached the bank parking lot already filled with police cars with flashing lights. She saw Emmaline’s new pink gloves on the ground but saw red. Somebody was going to pay.

Love your story.
I love these photos, both of them.
Andy, I love your sense of humor. Only a photographer would see this as a creative photo op. Well done. And thanks for encouraging Ruth.
And a terrific story starter. Thanks Audrey.
