Winter Sun

  1. The winter sun cast an eerie light over the First National Bank parking lot. Police officers were everywhere and Vincie just took it all in before deciding the best way to approach the situation. She did not want to appear to be a frantic friend. She was not the first but was definitely the latter. The police had already noted the tire tracks on the new pink gloves and would attempt to match the tire tread to a specific brand of tires. They were hoping that maybe some of the yarn from the gloves might have gone from Emmaline’s fingers to the abductor’s clothing but they would need to find out the maker of the gloves in order to know the exact yarn used for evidence should they find some on a suspect. Vincie knew exactly where the gloves came from and would direct them to the Knitting Princess Ruth very soon. It only took another minute for Vincie to ask to speak with the lead investigator and she was escorted to Detective Charlie. Vincie told Detective Charlie she might be able to lead them to Emmaline. Somewhat skeptical Detective Charlie asked how that might be and she said, “Without Emmaline’s knowledge I sewed an Apple Bag Tracker in the hem of her new coat. Would you like to use my phone?”

There were two things that Vincie really didn’t like. The first was anyone messing with one of her friends. The other was mushrooms.

  2. I love David’s continuation of my story starter. It made me laugh out loud several times. I hope the police are able to find Emmaline. And I hope she’s still alive.

Thanks for your visit. It's always good to hear you stopped by.
