Here’s how it went today.
Sheree, a frequent blog commenter, posted six photos from a search photo game that resulted in finding 5,579 Images. Wow.
So her View from the Back blog THE NUMBERS GAME #6, MONDAY 7 JULY, 2025linked to the inspiration and photo search game creator Life Lessons blog by JudyDykstraBrown, who inspires bloggers regularly on Mondays.
Here’s how to play the numbers game: You go to your photos and enter the number 201 in the search bar and choose photos to post from the results of the search. Of course every week it’s a different number. My problem is that my initial results started including all the photos from the years 2015 2016 2017 2018 and 2019 as the number 201 was at the beginning of the years.
But I figured it out. Here’s a gallery of my number (201) photos. An eclectic mix.
I realize my life has a predictable quality as I peruse the images. Just last week I was shooting snack cakes, chips and donuts at a gas station in Zanesville Ohio. Ice cream sandwiches. And I photographed in a diner just today. No fish market shots but I shot signage several times recently. It’s what I notice. And you know I’ve been photographing knitting a lot lately.
See additional current gallery below. I digress.

The current images below show similar subjects from what I harvested from the archives. A store front, an historical marker (not in braille though) signage and sock knitting. Photographing snack cakes. And coffee voices.

Excellent! So glad you joined in.
Thank you Sheree. It was fun.
Now you have made me hungry. I’d like one of Leona’s ice cream sandwiches, but I’ll settle for one of the more commercial chocolate ones. Thanks for joining the challenge. See you next week!
Thank you for the inspiration. I’ll look forward to going fishing again and see what surfaces with your next number! There’s something about an ice cream sandwich that provides deep satisfaction.
My mother used to buy them by the carton and store them in the full-sized freezer in the basement.
Oh that sounds like a wonderful memory.
Don’t know if I understand the challenge but the pictures are great!
Hearted “Roy and his big crayons.”.
❤️
Oh! I love the hand-knit socks! My toes want to snuggle in them.
They are cozy, Andrea. Thanks for looking and writing
