Yes I posted this mobile two months ago but I came into the atrium a different direction onnMondsy morning.
The installation of the Alexander Calder Mobile at the Pittsburgh International Airport. The new location and light really show it off beautifully.
We are fortunate to have such an important piece.

It’s amazing how entering from a different angle and under new lighting can make a familiar artwork feel completely fresh! As restlessjo noted, those reflections and light look incredible. Pittsburgh is truly lucky to have such a magnificent Calder piece welcoming travelers!
Thanks for sharing. I have yet to view in person. In the original PIT installation it dominated the much smaller space and complemented the terminal Art Deco style. Upon moving to the also more confined space at the airside terminal of yore it again dominated the crossover space. Currently it appears to ascend to yet greater heights. Love it.
