From my mother’s hometown of Durand, Illinois.

I think number 3 and 6 are ancestors of mine due to their last names. I see no family resemblance though and I’d best do some more serious research on theh possibility.
But I love this photograph found in my mother’s things.
That is such a great photo of times past. The look of people change over the generations.
Thanks for looking snd always leaving a good word Darlene.
Whippersnappers.
😂
That’s a great word not used too often.
Amazing find!
I thought so too, Sheree.
Fantastic! I bet they had to stay very still, though there looks like a bit of movement by No. 10.
Good eye, MD! Thanks for your visit and writing today.
At first glance I thought it was my high school graduation class! dc
You are funny, dc. Very funny.
Nobody is smiling, but an interesting picture.
You’re right!
These old headstones are fascinating. I’ve been chasing a brick wall in my own family tree for years, so I know that feeling of standing in a cemetery wondering who’s yours. I hope you find your ancestors in Durand!
I thank you for looking snd writing today.
