We were playing baseball in the backyard.
My almost three year old grandson called to me
“ I see eagles!”
This bird is an Osprey (Pandion haliaetus), often nicknamed the “fish hawk” or “sea hawk.” It’s the M shaped wings silhouette and white markings that are the clues.
Looks like the osprey we often see fishing along the coast on St George Island. Good capture.
