Throwback Thursday. From my grandmother’s album. Durand, Illinois.
I see my Uncle John in the striped tie looking between Aunt Edna (smiling) Could that be the back of Aunt May? My grandfather Judd VanSickle in the straw hat. My mother Marian(born 1912) with the glasses next to my Uncle Robert. My grandmother Charlotte on the far right with the white collared dress. The young man with his back to us tin the newsboy cap must be Ralph and May’s son, our Cousin Melburn
What happened to the family picnics? My husbands family meet for over 100 years and then slowly everyone lived to far away to come to the picnic. Grove City.
You know I love these old photos. What great times.
I love that you make time to look and write, Darlene.
Great photo
Thanks for your visit and good words, Sheree.
The pleasure’s all mine Ruth

Picnic is a magical word! I guess you’re right, everyone dispersed from central base. Home!
