Dreaming-
definitions 3 and 4
a wild fancy or hope
a condition or achievement that is longed for; an aspiration
Not a long exposure photo as suggested by the challenge originator, but I took this picture Saturday morning at the T-Ball game and saw that line of little legs and shoes dangling, not long enough to reach the dirt.
Field of Dreams. Dreaming of the big leagues, the hits, the runs. A double play. A perfect pitch. Bases loaded. A championship, a home run, safe.
I love the anticipation in this picture. Thanks for the pingback.
Excellent choice for this theme (great shot too).
Love the photo, Ruth, and it so fits the challenge!
Stunning photo… 🙂
A great shot for the challenge. Thank you for the pingback.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
I like your interpretation.
Fabulous photo. Dreams really do come true.
gret photo…some of those kids are really dreaming bigtime and we might just see them someday among the pros. here is my own take on the weekly challenge http://langaeh.wordpress.com/2012/07/15/weekly-photo-challenge-dreaming/

Wait are your feet supposed to touch the ground? Hmm….
That is such a cute picture!
Cute – and it really captures the feeling!
Anyone who has ever lived and/or worked with kids knows the meaning of this photo – artful and so meaningful. Takes me back two generations of Little League with such loving memories. Brava for this one, RuthE – it’s an ad gem as well. Love, Lois
Inspiring shot 🙂

Oh to be a fly on the wall and listen to what the kids are saying. Great interpretation for this week’s photo challenge.
Sweet!
Lovely shot Ruth! So evocative even without their faces, perhaps because of it. Amazing how our brains fill in the blanks 🙂
I can imagine the dream in each of those kid’s head. So amazing.
Great shot!
thx for the pingback 🙂

Little boys, big dreams. Fantastic.
So cute! And the other hidden mystery (on the path beyond sight around the corner and uphill) adds a solemnity that contrasts with the lightness of the peeking boy…beautiful!
