My friend Barb brought these beautiful figs. I rinsed them and put them in a bowl to take out to the front porch. They looked so lush and colorful, I pulled out my phone and photographed them before we picked one to eat. They were perfectly ripe and delicious.
Love fresh figs…..I just had a salad of fresh figs, arugula, blue cheese, pine nuts, tomatoes with balsamic vinagrette last night…..yummy! Your photo is awesome! 🙂
I like the colors of the figs against the white plate.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Very nice still life!!! Cheers Nonoy Manga
Fresh figs! Look how beautiful they look! I hope you share how you going to prepare them — if any last. I wouldn’t be able to resist them.
We ate them unadorned and they were perfection.
Fresh figs. Sometimes hard to find good fresh ones and such a limited growing season for the “perfect” fig. These look perfect.
Those figs are very photographic. I am nota fan of the taste.
Delicious looking still life 🙂
Oh, yum! I love fresh figs!
The beautiful white plate brings up the lovely color of the figs! They look delicious!
I would have a hard time not making something very yummy with those gorgeous figs, such as https://kitcheninspirations.wordpress.com/2011/11/20/rustic-fig-goats-cheese-prosciutto-pizza-with-honey/ or http://kitcheninspirations.wordpress.com/2009/02/22/dinner-with-kim-and-rob/
I’m sure your recipes are tasty. My mother used to say to Buy the best food you can and do as little to it as possible. This was such an occasion.
Sometimes less is more, that’s for sure.
Yum! Fresh figs! They look gorgeous on that beautiful plate.
Awesome. We can’t get enough figs!
Gorgeous! going to forward to my friend who brought me figs today from the trees in her garden in Braddock, Pa!
This also looks almost like a painting instead of a photo – beautiful.
