Atop the Ferris Wheel. The sign said Do Not Rock Cars.
No kidding, but Jack (6) my grandson would have loved to rock the car when we were stopped at the top!
Mr. George Washington Gale Ferris although born in Illinois founded a company to test metals for railroads and bridges- G.W. G. Ferris in Pittsburgh PA. Mr Ferris lived on the North Side and died in Mercy Hospital Pittsburgh of typhoid fever.
Don’t rock the cars?!?!?! What a bunch of spoil sports!
🙂
ooohh, don’t look down either!
Bird’s eye view – awesome shot
Yikes!
and that’s why I don’t do Ferris Wheels… great shot Ruth : )
I’d be afraid of falling off.
wheeeeeeeeee
That’s a great view, Ruth! And I love how you captured the warning in the image, too.
Thanks Stef. It felt so high.
Just when I thought I’d shaken my vertigo!
Sorry about the setback!
Great shot, Ruth. I definitely wouldn’t rock the car. I’d be too petrified to move. 🙂
