It is amazing when they grow up and have kids of their own! Their experience as new parents is both the same as and different from our experience as parents. And it’s lovely to see those photographs of ourselves from 30-some years ago. We look both the same and different, then to now. And we are so situated in a certain time period: I had those glasses, and that haircut too!
