You know how I love to photograph signage (and knit)
Joanne spotted this one!at the Hill Country Weavers yarn store on South Congress Austin Texas
and a familiar Pittsburgh icon found in at Home Slice Pizza in Austin
OUR very own Mr. Rogers
Complete with surveillance cameras.
Lovely. And I like to knit too. ππ
Thanks Jill. What do you like to knit? I’m into socks right now.
Hats. I tried knitting a little jumper for my daughter when she was a baby but she grew faster than I could knit and I never got the second leg knitted. LOL. Socks would be fun.
I love knitting hats.
I looked at the wool shop site, it seems very expensive!
Yes, it is. You’re right Gilly. I bought two skeins. $30 for one pair of socks does sound steep. The yarn is luxurious, though.
Knit sign is adorable. Austin better have high standards to use Mr. Rogers in a sign, I’m just sayin’
Marvelous photos Ruth. And funny too π
Thanks Cee. I love a touch of funny.
I smiled…..Gilly looked at the wool site and I looked up the pizza joint. π Sicilian pizza sounds really scrumptious. Have you tried it, Ruth?
It’s a. thick crust and I prefer NYC thin crust but I’m sure it’s good. I’m attracted to that wool but you can’t dine on it.
I also prefer thin crust. Less calories. π
These are great captures!
