What’s Eating You? 


The lacy leaves in the three photos (above) were not to be eaten….by humans, that is. 

And Laura took this last shot (below) on my phone as she was putting James’ lunch salad together. 


A cicada, expired. 

Don’t think he was the leaf eater though.

  1. What a coincidence! I picked a cherry tomato this evening and a cicada “shell” was stuck to it. Don’t have a clue to help determine what’s eating your garden. As you know, I’ve got a zucchini blossom-eating bunny and the ever-present tomato-thieving squirrel to deal with. When the insects start dining, I’m hanging up my garden shears for good.
