Early in the Pandemic my friend Debbie shipped scone mix and an unusual kitchen tool. A “brodpisker”in Danish or a Dough Whisk.
Here’s an Epicurious article all about this wonderful tool.
(Of course, you don’t want to overwork you’re scone dough!)
Thanks, Deb.

Were the scones good??
With a little butter and coffee chaser? Yes. I would not have as much sugar as they out in the mix.
The scones looked delicious
Very tasty. Thanks Sheree. It was cool enough to bake early this morning.
Love the look of that whisk. And you are ambitious to bake this early in the morning!
The weather made it possible to turn on the oven yesterday morning. I’d had the scone mix box staring at me. What else could I do?
I’ve never made scones. Yours look beautifully delicious.
Thanks Audrey.
Glad you love the whisk. It makes mixing so much easier.
That is a DURABLE looking whisk – something to pass along with a favorite recipe.
I tried to make scones once, and they didn’t turn out very well. Maybe I just needed a special whisk. 🙂
You don’t want to over mix the dough..
Looks so scrumptious. 😃
They were good. Thanks Sylvia. Hope all is well with you and yours.
