Born in Durand, Illinois on September 3rd, 1912. It’s the anniversary of my mother’s birth. One hundred eight years ago. Next week marks twenty years since she passed. The early years, from my grandmother’s album.
I find it interesting that people still think of their parents’ birthdays well after their deaths. My mom died 35 years ago and my dad died 42 years ago and I still pause on their birthdays to wish them well. And I still miss them every day!
Wonderful family photos! What a treasure.
Thank you, Ken.
Ditto above……a treasure trove!!! IS Marian a family name??? XOXOXo
Only one in the family.
A lovely collection of photos. Your mother has a doll which looks a lot like my mother’s doll from the 1920s. I still have the doll.
I have my mother’s doll, too. ❤️
Wonderful. With doll’s clothes as well?
Just what Maybelle is wearing😀

Beautiful pictures that you’ll be able to cherish for years. Each picture recalling special memories from days gone by.
I’m fortunate to have these photographs. To realize they were taken so long ago….

Loved seeing these special photos, Ruth. You look just like your mom. My mom also was Marian, she was named after a grandmother.
Thanks Deb.
wonderful photos to reflect with 🙂
Yes. Definitely.
These photos are fantastic. I love seeing these slices of life from decades (and centuries) past…
I’m fortunate to have them
