My father attended the inauguration of President John F. Kennedy. I remember he took a train to DC and it was really really cold. The rest of the memorabilia is at my son’s house.
This is one of the buttons he brought home as a souvenir.

Hesh and I attended Barak Obama’ second inauguration. I have 2 small American Flags that were given out. It was cold but so exciting!

What an experience, now part of your family’s history. I don’t think I’ve ever watched an Inauguration as closely as I watched yesterday’s. It was beautiful and powerful and lovely. Even without the massive crowds.
