I have stopped many times for Geese crossing the road near Lake Carnegie and the swimming pool in Highland Park. They sure take their time too. Us humans always seem to be in a rush to get somewhere. Usually, somewhere of little importance like the grocery store at least fir me. I think there is a lesson about patience to be learned from them.

Thank you for writing today. Iβve seen some wild turkeys cross the road , too, but not able to get a pic. They are not good looking creatures.
No, turkey are quite ugly – and actually, we think they taste like they look like.
