Thank you for that mention of Steinbeck, too. They are extra beautiful and abundant this year. The hummingbirds love them.
Yes- and this last week mine have had lots of those fuzzy bumble bees
And my rose of Sharon’s were late to bloom full because I had to trim them twice this year in later spring early summer
And so finally enjoying the fullness
