on a tree
as a vine
leave it be or you won’t be fine.
Itch, scratch and calamine
will be your fate.
Don’t touch it
or it will be too late.
What a nice shade of red. The harmless appearance is deceiving for sure. Thanks for the warning. We have it around here. In fact, the tree in the photo looks like a tree in our yard.

Looks ominous to me …. I have suffered that fate in the past ….
Reminds me of a log that grows mushrooms – but this one grows lovely red leaves.
