Living in Calgary and Medicine Hat, Alberta, we often stored leftover Christmas food in the garage. Colder than the fridge!!
The last few days have been cold enough in Florida to store food in the garage at night. That is not usually possible.
Very resourceful. I’ll be very happy when I can put my AC and shorts back on here in south Florida. Dc
I use my cold storage room. It works.
Great idea, my neighbor just stored his food in the garage when we lost power over the weekend.
ROFL – I did buy a fresh turkey on 24th December (about 20 years ago) and leave it in the trunk of the car overnight!
We’ve done that often!
We could use our garage as a freezer from about November to March…
We used our garage – and it froze everything. (Overnight temps were -20 F; daytime temps were a high of -5 F.) :O
