I can almost smell the lemon juice.
When my eldest texted a pic of her son picking an orange from his paternal grandparents’ tree, I said, “Please bring some oranges back home to Minnesota.” I’ve never tasted a fresh orange or lemon and I’m craving an orange in the depths of this cold and snowy winter.
Lemons make me think of home made Lemon Pie that my mother made when I was young. It was the best.
