I don’t like the shaky sensation of the bridge vibrating and feeling movement when you have to stop on it!
The light at the end of the bridge was red today as we left town.
My friend Vincie clued me in on this route to avoid going through the Ft. Pitt Tunnel.
It was Friday afternoon and there was traffic. We were headed for Ohio. Such threatening skies and heavy rain, so heavy we stopped for a bite to eat in West Virginia as we travelled the two hundred miles to Columbus. Happy we got there safely.
Here’s what I saw as we sat at the light-

Pittsburgh Skyline
I’m happy you got there safely too. It was a gray day. dc
Were you in Ohio Friday at 4:42 Friday when the Tornado hit close to you at the Highland Park Bridge?
We were just arriving in Columbus at that time. Phew!
The 31st street bridge also shakes. The I was in marching band we were told to stop marching (break cadence) on bridges because they were afraid of swaying.
