Level Three Snow Emergency in Athens

Athens in Southeast Ohio.

“All roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one should be on the roadway unless it is essential to travel or a personal emergency exists. All employees should contact their employer to see if they should report to work. Those traveling on the roads may subject themselves to arrest.

Guest blogger Anna sent these photos today and she and her housemates walked to get a frozen pizza at the Dollar General as only emergency vehicles were to be on the roads.

Her roommates made an igloo

And here’s the snowplow coming around again at night

  1. I agree with Susan on both counts and add that I do not miss it. Hang in there Anna and good job. dc

  2. Glad there was some fun to be had in this snow. It doesn’t look like all that much snow, at least by Minnesota standards. But certainly enough to create havoc. Thanks for sharing your photos, Anna.

  3. Subject to arrest? I have never seen that in response to a snow emergency before. Must be intense! I do love the igloo. 🙂

Thanks for your visit. It's always good to hear you stopped by.
