Wonderful Ruth, so close to civilisation, is that normal?
In recent years, yes. They are looking for something to eat.
Great photo
Thanks Sheree.
Pleasure
Beautiful
I agree.
A lone dear. It needs to come live with the herd in our neighborhood.
There were more. I was a passenger so got to take the photo
Great photo!
Thanks Carrie
She has a friend somewhere around there.
Yes there were several friends.
Doesn’t appear to me like she’s looking for food. I think she’s looking for an abandoned couch to lay down and rest on. Word in the forest is follow the knitting lady and you’ll find old furniture! Dc
You crack me up😂
Beautiful picture of a beautiful animal.
Thanks for your visit today.
I frequently see ‘signs’ of deer in my yard, scat, prints in the snow, or eaten plants. Rarely do I ever see the deer. They are beautiful animals.
I never tire of looking at deer…except the dead ones along the interstate.
Just today I saw 5 deer in the marsh just past our back yard. They all just patiently watched me as I walked past. I waved; they didn’t wave back. 😀
They are lovely creatures and they are so hungry now
