Walking in the Allegheny Cemetery this morning, we saw many downed branches and trees. Crews were working on storm cleanup. You could hear the chainsaws.
Those 70+ mph winds did a lot of damage Tuesday night. Some school districts have been closed for 3 days.
Power has been restored to many areas but there are still thousands who do not have power.

Ruth, I have some friends from Allegheny, so small world.
What a terrible storm, it’s always scary when trees start to blow down. Sorry to hear some still have no power.
Hopefully it will be restored soon.
Wow! That is quite the storm.
Ditto
Thanks Sheree.
It was fast and furious.
The wind was so strong. Thankfully, only the trees were damage, nothing casualties.
You are right. Fortunate the casualties were few.
Oh thank God. Stay safe there, Ruth. Happy Sunday!
It was a doozy! Lost power for 48 hours!
Scary storm and the aftermath. Video reminded me of hurricanes.
Our electric just came on a couple of hours ago. We had two trees blown down in our back yard and every other house on our street lost trees. The house below us in the park (Frick Park) had a tree go thru the middle of his house .My trees were cut up today. I had to get rid of all the food in my Frig. Next week has to be better.
Mother Nature flexing her muscles. Glad you are safe. Dc
