      • I don’t have a recipe for Yarrow. I have made dye using Goldenrod & Avocado. Very easy to do, so much fun. You basically dry the flower heads. When ready simmer them in water. The trick is you have to add a mordent to set the dye. The type of mordant you add, decides the shade. You can use citric acid, iron, alum and more. Check on YouTube to see what Mordant will give you the color shade. With Yarrow you can create a yellow shade or green depending on the Morgantown.

    • They are nice this year. My mother used to say first year, sleep, second year, creep. Third year, leap!
