Trying My Hand at Corn Hole

Have you ever played Corn Hole?

Steve took this photo of me last Saturday trying to toss the beanbag into the opposite hole. Supposedly the bags were filled with corn. Steve, a lefty, got his bags in the hole three times.

Me? Zero!

I love how his photo of me caught the bag in the air, released from my hand.

Corn Hole “Cornhole is a popular lawn game where players throw bean bags at a raised wooden board with a hole at the far end. The goal is to score points by either landing a bag on the board or getting it through the hole. Players alternate turns tossing their bags underhand from a pitcher’s box beside the board”

There’s an American Cornhole Association

I should have watched this video first

  1. Seems like playing cornhole in the street might be dangerous. We have been playing it for years on the beach.

    • The street was blocked off for the block party. You’re right. It would be better at the beach.

  2. Corn hole is BIG in Minnesota. I think you could find a tournament somewhere every weekend, even in winter, when it’s played indoors. We have a corn hole tournament with a traveling trophy (a mini corn hole board, of course) at the Helbling reunion. I am terrible at corn hole and thus do not like to play it competitively, even at the reunion. Sports have never been my thing.

Thanks for your visit. It's always good to hear you stopped by.
