Corncob Crafts Book from the Seventies

I picked this gem up at Moon and Yarn Craft Yarn Room in Bellevue. It was in the Free Basket.

I didn’t take this vintage Hazel Pearson Handicrafts publication because I wanted to create craft items with corncobs.

It just struck me as unusual and amusing. It’s corn on the cob season at the Farmers Markets in case you’re inspired. Other DIY vintage craft books from this company are available on Etsy.

  1. It’s always fun to find something vintage like this and totally off-the-wall. The cobs this references are from field corn, not sweet corn. Field corn cobs dry. Cobs from sweetcorn get rotten and decay.

Thanks for your visit. It's always good to hear you stopped by.
