SIMPLE- “Having or composed of only one thing, element, or part.”
Simple sentence.
Simple request.
Simple procedure.
Simple pleasure.
Simple syrup.
Simple recipe.
Simple machine.
Simple life.
” ‘Tis a gift to be simple.”
There’s even the magazine REAL SIMPLE.
A medicinal herb is a simple?
“Don’t act simple.”
I can think of just two words that rhymes with simple …one cute, the other not-
Shot this single egg just a half hour ago in Mark and Erika’s kitchen. Everyone has gone to bed. The snow didn’t start ’til the last hour of the drive out here. Erika’s Aunt Georgeann picked me up at school and we came out together which made the 200 miles go by much more quickly.
Appliance repairman scheduled for 7 AM and I’m making the pancakes for breakfast before the swim meet. Sounds like a full day. More complex than simple but it will be simply wonderful!

Great shot!
Amazing Shot! I’d love it more if it was fried. 😉
What a brilliant idea and an even more brilliant photo – stunning!
Simple? Yes, but yet so miraculous!
Very simple. Love it.
Great choice!
” ‘Tis a gift to be simple” is one of my favorite songs. I love the peace of a full-yet-sleeping house; when I am sitting quietly in meditation, feeling the tranquil energy of all of the sleeping beings…. Or in your case, enjoying the peace of quietly making breakfast. The calm before the energy storm. Wonderful. 🙂
The incredible edible egg. Simple yet delicious.
Over-easy please… maybe not so simple after all 🙂 Glad you arrived safely.
Now I am thinking of omelette for breakfast! 🙂
Simple really…..
Great shot! 🙂
Very imaginative choice!! great shot. XOXOXOX
Stunning and so simple, not to mention elegant!
Nice picture!!!!!!!!!
Great post 🙂
This is great! It tells a story and I love it when a picture does that. I wonder what it would be like with a brown egg? Would the story be a longer one? Perhaps…but not necessarily better!!
Great compositionally.

great great shot! inspiring to make one too
Of all the entries I’ve looked at this one is definitely the best! Love it!
simple and perfect. Have you ever tried to break an egg just by squeezing it? If the egg doesn’t have a pre-existing crack, it can’t be done. A bit of homeschooling geekery–and wonder.
I buy eggs in the two dozens
i inda like this eggy post…
Is it bad I’m trying to check out the range? behind it?
That range is like a cooking show. Six burners- 36″ wide. I chose that location to shoot late night due to the light on the in-lin ventilation hood. Erika’s aunt is visiting and giving me the specs (the appliance store family) 15,000 BTU’s on the burners hence the big ventilation but can do a simmer mode, too. The giant oven is electric, dual fuel convection.
Awesome…and simple 🙂

You should have freeze it at “Santa Monica Fertility” or “Reproductive Biology Associates” because it’s famous now.
