(Extra)ordinary “Things or settings we might overlook at first glance. Whether in a new or familiar place, I try to keep my eyes open — to look for beauty or interestingness where I least expect it.” Cheri Lucas Rowlands
Not an ordinary puddle.
After a week of constant rain, the sun came out just before sunset.
With the ripple. A passerby hit the water.
Did I mention I left my camera in the apartment? Shot with the iPhone camera.
First one is extra ordinary with the ripples on the left side.
Stunning reflections in the water Ruth. You have such a great eye for extraordinary sights like this. Clouds always amaze me and you and your iPhone really took amazing shots. 😀
Thank you for your visit and nice words today Sonel. Good to see you again!
You are very welcome Ruth. I am glad you visited. Now I a can follow you as well again. Missed your lovely posts. 😀 ♥
These photos almost make going out in the rain tolerable! Second thoughts, I’ll just enjoy yours 🙂
I think the water in the puddle looks like a painting.
You have truly shown us the beauty that can be found in a puddle.
Thanks for your visit today, Colline.
Ruth, I really like your submission this week. I adore your first shot. 😀
Thank you Cee. Your comment makes my day!
I love puddle photos, Ruth! Especially after all that rain. 🙂
Thank you, Jo. I don’t enjoy stepping in them, though. The rain lasted a week so far.
🙁
Ruth, I love these, especially as I take lots of photos like this as well, although I haven’t published any on my blog yet. These are great.

Thanks Janet. I hope I get to see your puddle photographs on your blog sometime soon. Trying to make the best of a wet holiday.
