I wonder if this will be torn down?

So sad, I really hate to see beautiful old farmhouses abandoned.

I’m surprised its still standing.
Just like the stately barns that are decaying, so are these old farmhouses. It seems the end of an era and it saddens me to see this happening. Old houses hold character and stories that we need to remember.

We see so much development claiming our beautiful landscape. We always talk about this when we drive the turnpike. Old homesteads like this one inspire memories of people and places past. I do not understand why we need so many housing developments and malls and strip malls and new roads to claim open land and land full of trees and plants. It is always bothersome.
This reminds me of my childhood.
