I’ve asked before. It’s seasonal, for sure. Fruitcake reveal today. It’s the best fruitcake. Baked by Linda. It’s the absolute best, ever. I’m serious. What a lot of work. Shipped from Massachusetts. I took it out today to take in the fragrance. I had told my sister I’d wait to eat it when she came. But that’s next week. I had to see it, smell it and yes I cut a sliver. Delicious.fruitcake.

I don’t like it but my OH adores it so I make it for him. I used to make ones snd send them to family in UK who love my fruitcake but Brexit put paid to that.

Not for me, but it brings happy memories of my parents waiting all year for one at our A& P Grocery Store . They loved it full of sticky, gooey dried fruits, very little anything else.
