O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!
Not only green in summer’s heat,
But also winter’s snow and sleet.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
Of all the trees most lovely;
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
Of all the trees most lovely.
Each year you bring to us delight
With brightly shining Christmas light!
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
Of all the trees most lovely.
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
We learn from all your beauty;
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
We learn from all your beauty.
Your bright green leaves with festive cheer,
Give hope and strength throughout the year.
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
We learn from all your beauty.
On the way to the chipper. We take ours down on Jan 6th, Kings Day.
I bet it was beautiful all decorated.
This is on my list of tasks for today, to undecorate the tree. Here we can drop them off at the dog park where the owner of Goat Dispatch picks them up to feed to the goats. The challenge will be removing all of the tinsel.
I hate that people cut down living trees and wish they would grow them in the yard or giant pots and simply put the decorations on them there–they take years to grown and a tiny time to be regarded disrespectfully.
We put out tree back in the box at the end of each holiday season. 🙂
