My granddaughter Maura(15) sent me the first photo. She’d gotten out of her high school 90 minutes early, due to the tornado warnings. Their Spring break was last week as she lives in a suburb of Columbus.

My grandson Charlie (8) has Spring break this week, as he goes to the Columbus City Schools. He took this next photo with his tablet. My daughter Laura texted it to me.

Fortunately neither family experienced damage or loss of property as so many others in the state did from the serious storms.
Here’s another photo Maura took of the light in top half of the trees

Horray maura and charlie

How beautiful!
These are great pics, Ruth. The kids follow in your footsteps!
Ruth, I love how you’ve passed your love of seeing the beauty in the landscape and in life in general to your grandchildren. Thanks, Maura and Charlie, for photographing those beautiful rainbows. I’m thankful your family’s homes were not damaged by severe weather, but sorry for those whose homes were damaged. Tornados are especially frightening. I’ve lived through two.
Maura and Charlie- Wonderful snap shots !
Glad your families are safe.
They both captured double rainbows! So special.
