Milk and Cookies Placement and Polish Christmas Eve

Acrobatics on the ottoman make the magical setting real.

Probably the last year for second grader Anna to believe that Santa will come and eat that plate of cookies and the carrots will be eaten by the reindeer.  We had a Polish Christmas eve honoring Erika’s father’s heritage

  1. MERRY CHRISTMAS, Ruth to you and all of your family gathered in Columbus, including the newlyweds! Love these photos!! What a “season” of preparations and celebrations this has been for you ….. now it’s Winter …”down time” as in hibernations and rest!!! 🙂 Much, much LOVE

  2. I vicariously enjoyed the pierogi’s. Smiled as I caught sight of the gymnastic grandson sprawled over the ottoman ( give him 9.5 points ) and the entire fireplace scene complete with the Christmas PJ’s. Merry Christmas to all.

  3. You really captured Christmas with this photo, Ruth. Here’s wishing Anna remains a believer for just one more year. Merry Christmas!

  4. What a beautiful scene! Jan and I combined her tradition (steak and crabcakes) with some of my family traiditions (periogies and baked macaroni, sheese and tomatoes casserole) and had Chirstmas Eve dinner at her home! I loved the look of the beet soup… mom would have that on “little Chirstmas”…. lvoe to all!

  5. The setting looks beautiful, and the perogis look very tasty. It looks like a warm, peaceful holiday. Delightful. Merry Christmas to you Ruth! (And your family, of course.)
