Pesto Yes or No ?

Pine nuts, garlic, freshly grated Parmesan, olive oil and a couple of cups of basil leaves whirled in the food processor. To me it tasted like summer.

The Harvie farm box arrived on the front porch today. When I unpacked it, it was the fragrant basil that motivated me to think of pesto.

Pesto- yes or no?

  1. I love pesto and I’m glad you made it! It also stores well in the freezer. I don’t add pine nuts to mine (not sure why). Love it with pasta and a tomato/mozzarella salad on the side.

  2. YES! I make two types, a garlic scape pesto and a traditional with basil pesto with walnuts instead of pine nuts.
