There is a difference between canned fish and jars of fish (the same applies to beans and pulses). Cans are cooked at a higher temperature at which glass would crack. So fish, beans and pulses cooked in jars have a better texture.

There aren’t many small family owned grocery stores anymore . This groceria is a gem.
Yes, you are right. I thought the prices on eggs, milk and butter were lower than many of the big surrounding stores..

Their ravioli, from the freezer case, is unbelievable. So delicate that baking is preferred to boiling. Multiple flavors. I think they make it on Thursday when you can buy it fresh.
