Three different types of apples, peeled and chunked and cooked on the stove top to make applesauce -nothing added, just apples. Last farm box delivery had three bags of apples. A lot of apples.

I can see three bags being too many for some households, but you’ve made good use of yours.
I didn’t get to customize my farm box in time hence 3 bags of apples.
Looks delicious. Do you do anything with the apple peel?
No pigs to feed. I ate some. I guess I could have been more creative with it. Suggestions?
In days gone by I would add them to other fruit to make cordial or to make jelly.
Yes and another friend said cook the peel right in the sauce. Thank you
Lots of work but worth the effort.
Knowing Ruth she probably knits a pair of socks out of the apple peels. MacIntossocks? dc
That is a very funny comment …. MacIntossocks! Somebody knows you well, Ruth.
😍
Nothing quite like a good orchard-fresh apple, or sweet treat made thereof.
Thank you Audrey.
Beautiful apples, I can smell them from here, lol. You can dehydrate the apple peels, then grind them into a powder. Great to add to tea, muffins or anything you want to have a apple taste too.
Good idea.
I can almost smell it!
Nice work on the peeling! I think it’s fun to present little challenges to oneself while cooking. 🙂
Yes I like to make up little challenges.
