Homestead Grays Bridge Reflection

Along the Monongahela River.

The thin white tree branch over the dark trunk seemed to connect the bridge reflection in the river. Tie it together.

I photographed this image earlier in the week.

But-we’re not talking about the weather or what it’s doing outside my window right now.

It’s winter for certain.

    • Well, it looked good to me. Or maybe I’m reading a hint of sarcasm into words that wasn’t your intention at all. Thanks for stopping by today.

      • Oh non Ruth. Perhaps I should have elaborated a bit more when I expressed my admiration for your photo. It is unusual to get such a clear reflection in flowing water.

      • Peter you are sweet to elaborate. Being virtual blog friends and not truly knowing one another, it can be difficult sometimes to “get” what the other is saying. I felt badly about the way I replied (in my uncertainty about what you were saying) so you are good to clarify and I look forward to many more exchanges with you. 😀

  1. Your photo is so engaging. I am drawn to the connection that you mention and more. Sunlight and blue skies are a bonus in January in Pittsburgh. You picked the perfect day to take this picture. In contrast, tonight the snow is blowing sideways and ice crystals abound. I wonder what the morning will bring. A date with my snow shovel is a certainty.

  2. This is a beautiful photo. I can see it enlarged, in a frame and displayed in someone’s home. It would look gorgeous in the right setting.

  3. This is a stunning photo – the colors and the reflection and the interest that the trees provide. Your work is great but this is really exceptional.
