It’s water under the bridge (s), the water being the Monongahela River. I lost count of the number of bridges we sailed under.
Sunday night.
Rivers of Steel Photo Cruise on the Mon. During the 2 1/2 hour Riverboat Cruise we had rain, clouds, thunder, lightning )where we had to go inside the boat) and then a sliver of sun briefly, ending on clear skies.
Amazing!
Thanks for your visit and comment Cindy
Great photos! All so different!
Thanks Toni
I worked on the Gateway Clipper for about a year. I know the bridges from this side, very well. Sorry you didn’t have better weather, but you have some cool pictures.
Thanks Dan. Actually the changing weather made it interesting and the changing light a challenge
Well you captured lots of different bridges! I liked the foggy picture.
The weather changes were so dramatic
Ah yes. The city of bridges. Great pictures Ruth. Didn’t know river of steel did river tours.
You’ll have to check out the Rivers of Steel tours.
I lost count of how many bridges you went under too! Great photos though. Some look in pretty bad shape.
I didn’t realize bridges were so architecturally interesting on the underside. Since the collapse of the 35W bridge in Minneapolis and resulting loss of lives and serious injuries, I never have viewed bridges in quite the same way.
You always give things such a unique perspective. Hoping to someday take you through the locks.
Heavens! 🙂 🙂 Or do I mean, heavens opened?
The heavens did open and made for a dramatic ride on the river.
Stunning photos, and the way that the waters ripple in some of the photos is Awesome!
Tough conditions for a photo cruise? Was there a subject that was the focus of the cruise? (Was it bridges?)
