We were returning to the car after a visit to the East Liberty library.

“The architect who designed the current structure was Ralph Adams Cram, of Cram and Ferguson in Boston. Cram also designed Calvary Episcopal Church (1906) in neighboring Shadyside and Princeton University’s Chapel. When Cram was hired by the Mellons to build the current East Liberty Presbyterian Church building, he was given absolute freedom to build the finest and most beautiful church to the glory of God that he could create.”

Spotted by my Grandson (2 1/2) so I Photographed it

Look he said A rainbow! We were at a Toy Lending Library Play place in a church basement.

The windows were covered in translucent contact paper so the rainbow is muted.

Wienermobile Spotted by Steve

There are six active Oscar Meyer wienermobiles in the United States. The first one was created in 1936. You can track them on the highlighted link. Steve saw this one on Liberty Avenue at Millvale Avenue corner today. I’m sorry I missed the scene. It was right across from the Mellon Pavilion, he said.

Each mobile is run by two brand ambassadors called “hotdoggers” the license plates are “License plates: Each vehicle has a unique identifier plate: YUMMY, OURDOG, WNRMBLE, RELSHME, OCRMYR, and WEENR.”
